Office of the Town Clerk

The Town Clerk is responsible for the proper administration of Council. He achieves this by supervising and controlling activities of employees of Council in the course of their employment. He is responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of Council and coordination, and where necessary, the integration of all activities of the organisation in consultation with the respective heads of departments. The Town Clerks’ Office has the Internal Audit Function directly under his supervision.

The Town Clerk of the City of Kwekwe is Mr E N Musara. He is located at the Civic Centre.

Married with two children

Academic Qualifications:
M.Sc – LLM, Birmingham, UK; LLB, UNISA, South Africa

Other Training:
Trained as a Soldier, Journalist, trained as a Writer and also trained on Foreign relations with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Previous Employment:

  • Journalist, Moto Newspaper
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • District Administrator for Mt Darwin, Mazoe, Centenary and Bikita.
